Tims from Coast to Coast

As of September 28, 2014, Tim Hortons has 4,590 restaurants systemwide: 3,665 in Canada, 869 in the United States and 56 in the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Where are we located? In Canada, you can buy a Double Double as far north as Iqaluit, NU, as far south as Kingsville, ON, as far west as Campbell River, BC and as far east as St. John’s, NF. Not bad, eh?

In the United States, there are Tim Hortons restaurants as far north as Madawaska, ME, as far south as Ashland, Ky, as far west as Grand Forks, ND, and as far east as Houlton, ME.

Brewing Something Big

Each year, we serve more than 2 billion cups of coffee!

We serve almost 8 of every 10 cups of coffee sold in Canada.

Our coffee masters taste-test more than 75,000 cups per year to maintain our consistently high quality.

Speaking of coffee masters, there are only 3 people in the world that know the formula for blending and roasting our signature brews.

Timmy Love

Every day, approximately 15% of all Canadians visit Tim Hortons – that’s 5.3 million happy customers daily!

Our Canadian Facebook page has more Canadian fans than any other brand page in Canada.

We really made it! In 2004, coffee history was made when the name, “Double Double” was added to the Canadian Oxford Dictionary.

Tims In The Community

The Tim Horton Children’s Foundation was founded in 1975. By the end of 2014, it will have given more than 200,000 disadvantaged kids the opportunity to go to camp.

“Camp Day” is held on the first Wednesday of every June to help send kids to camp. On Camp Day, our restaurant owners donate 100% of the proceeds from the day’s coffee sales to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation.

Tims also loves sports! Each year, more than 300,000 kids have fun and get active in Timbits Minor Sports Programs.

To help raise money for local charities across North America, we launched the Smile Cookie campaign in 1996.
