When Islands founder Tony DeGrazier stepped off the beaches of Oahu after a day of surfing with his Navy buddies in the early 60s, he did what came naturally to him. He went searching for a juicy burger, a hot basket of fries & a cold drink. Twenty years later, in 1982, it was that sense of place & satisfaction he was trying to recreate when he took a little chunk of the islands & plopped it down right in the mainland of Southern California.
Today, Islands still is true to Tony’s original experience & his original vision. And though our menu has grown to include salads, soups & soft tacos, we still adhere to the basic philosophy that fresh food, friendly service & a laid back atmosphere is the perfect end to a hard day of work or play. We hope you taste it in every bite. And we hope that whether you’re a hungry surfer or busy salesperson, you walk into Islands & say to yourself, like Tony did those many years ago, “Ahh…this is the place I want to be.”

Islands has the greatest burgers in Rancho Cucamonga, a local favorite is the Hula Burger with sautéed mushrooms and swiss. It pairs nicely with a cold beer and our famous Island Fries. Sports viewing is always fun with Islands HD TVs, ice cold beer and great happy hour specials during the week from 4pm to 7pm. A visit to Islands is just like a day at the beach.
