When Islands founder Tony DeGrazier stepped off the beaches of Oahu after a day of surfing with his Navy buddies in the early 60s, he did what came naturally to him. He went searching for a juicy burger, a hot basket of fries & a cold drink. Twenty years later, in 1982, it was that sense of place & satisfaction he was trying to recreate when he took a little chunk of the islands & plopped it down right in the mainland of Southern California.
Today, Islands still is true to Tony’s original experience & his original vision. And though our menu has grown to include salads, soups & soft tacos, we still adhere to the basic philosophy that fresh food, friendly service & a laid back atmosphere is the perfect end to a hard day of work or play. We hope you taste it in every bite. And we hope that whether you’re a hungry surfer or busy salesperson, you walk into Islands & say to yourself, like Tony did those many years ago, “Ahh…this is the place I want to be.”

Great HD TVs for catching a game and a spacious patio to accommodate large groups. Join us for happy hour specials on appetizers, wine, beer and cocktails Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7pm and for late night happy hour Sun-Thurs from 9pm to close.
