Located in the heart of the historical Gaslamp Quarter, Hard Rock Cafe San Diego is the place for Legendary Burgers, local fish tacos, fall off the bone BBQ dishes, fresh salads, award winning cocktails, local craft beers, and Roxtar kid’s meals. In addition, enjoy our Platinum Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 3pm-6pm. On Fridays, amp up your night with live acoustic rock in our dome bar from 4:30pm – 6:30pm along with our new Backstage After Party with popular DJ’s from 8:30pm -11:00pm.
We are located across the street from Balboa and Lyceum Theatres and just a few blocks from the San Diego Civic Theatre and Spreckels Theatre. The Hard Rock Cafe San Diego is only a 15-minute walk from the San Diego Convention Center, and a 10-minute drive from the San Diego Zoo.

Memorabilia from the greatest talents in music adorn the walls, including a vintage fabric tank top worn by Gwen Stefani on No Doubt’s 1996 -1997 “Tragic Kingdom” world tour, a Gibson Les Paul Joe Perry Model Guitar signed by all the members of Aerosmith, and a boxing glove used on stage as a prop by Sugar Ray.
