How do I obtain a park entrance pass?

Only 118 of your 417 park sites charge entrance fees. You can obtain park entrance passes by visiting a park site that charges an entrance fee. Entrance fee sites have passes available; we recommend calling a park prior to your visit. (See the park search to locate a specific park.) There are a number of entrance passes available, including park-specific passes as well as passes that offer entrance to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites in addition to the national parks (Annual, Military, Senior, 4th Grade, Access, and Volunteer passes).       The fee allows entrance to Wright Brothers National Memorial for one person, 16 years old or older, for seven consecutive days from the date of purchase.

      Free admission to Wright Brothers National Memorial for any person 15 years old and younger.
    • $25.00 – Commercial Sedan
      For commercial vehicles with seating capacity of 1-6 passengers, the cost is $25 + $7/person. Federal passes are not applicable for commercial tour fees.

    They Taught the World to Fly!

    Wind, sand, and a dream of flight brought Wilbur and Orville Wright to Kitty Hawk, North Carolina where, after four years of scientific experimentation, they achieved the first successful airplane flights on December 17, 1903.

    With courage and perseverance, these self-taught engineers relied on teamwork and application of the scientific process. What they achieved changed our world forever.

    The visitor center at Wright Brothers National Memorial contains exhibits on the Wright brothers’ work over the years here, artifacts from the original 1903 Wright Flyer, and reproductions of the 1903 flyer and 1902 glider.
