Welcome to Whole Foods Market South Loop! Part of the South Loop community since 2007, the South Loop store strives to be a true neighborhood store with something for everybody. Our recent remodel embodies the energy of the neighborhood and has made for an easier shopping experience with more choices. At the South Loop store, our goal is to be approachable, knowledgable, and genuine.
Whole Foods Market South Loop is located in the Southgate Market Mall at Roosevelt and Canal. Our store is a roomy 55,000 square feet, abundant in parking, and full of unique features and events. Shoppers are especially fond of The Engine Room , South Loop’s favorite new destination for craft beer, fine wine, and tasty bar bites.
Taking care of the environment is important to Whole Foods Market South Loop. In 2008 we received a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, Gold Status. Gold is the second highest rating that can be awarded. We were the first LEED certified store in the Midwest Region and the highest rated store in our company. We are also the first grocery store in Chicago to receive this prestigious recognition.
