Ellettsville True Value was purchased on July 12th, 1989, by current owner Frank Terkhorn, from previous owner Ross Andrews. In 1989, the store occupied a much smaller building, approximately 6,000 square feet in size with only one level. In 1995, construction was complete on the new and current site of Ellettsville True Value and Just Ask Rental. The current site is approximately 15,000 square feet in size, with three levels. The first level is occupied by the Just Ask Rental store, where customers can find over 300 items to rent, seven days a week. Also on the first level, customers can find the state of the art Sharpening Center and mechanic Bill Cissna who runs the repair shop. The second floor is occupied by the hardware store itself. There you will find over 40,000 items available for purchase seven days a week. You will also find some of the most helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff in the area. We also have a large paint shop, featuring custom match paint services. In addition to hardware items, we also have a large list of services that are available seven days a week.
