We ’ re proud of our Meat Department, especially our selection and service! From juicy roasts to sizzling steaks, our Meat Masters offer the best cuts at family-friendly prices. 

Fresh Ground Beef

Schnucks ground beef is ground fresh several times a day by our butchers right in our Meat Department. The labels always specify the date it was ground – so you know it’s fresh!

We offer regular, lean and extra lean ground beef. You’ll also find ground chuck and ground round for family favorites like chili, sloppy Joes and meatloaf. 

Fresh Store-made Sausage

Our butchers grind fresh meat in-store. Then they hand mix it with spices using our own signature recipes. Never frozen, no preservatives or MSG! Each bratwurst, spicy stadium, salsiccia, chorizo and turkey brat is stuffed in natural casings, then hand twisted by our butchers. Our bulk sausage is perfect for pizza, lasagna or soup!

Oven-Ready Meals

We make everything that you see in our Service Meat Case fresh in-store. You’ll find fresh-made, oven-ready meal solutions like marinated chicken breasts, stuffed chops, rolled flank steaks, chicken spedini, loaded burgers and chicken or beef kabobs. 

Spiral Sliced Ham

Schnucks spiral sliced ham, made for us with natural juices, is trimmed just right for a flavorful yet lean, tender ham. It’s slow-smoked the old-fashioned way (with hickory). Plus, it ’ s sliced to the bone so you get more meat for your money. Our butchers are proud to offer you a spiral sliced ham you won’t find anywhere else!

Seafood

Our full-service Seafood Department features fresh and frozen seafood from around the world! You’ll find shrimp galore, plus lobster tails, smoked salmon and succulent sweet crabs! We also offer oven-ready meal solutions like crab cakes, shrimp skewers and fresh-made kabobs.
