Great service, great people! No I’m not an employee of the Post Office and neither are my friends or relatives. Least expensive services in the world based on my logistics research. Cost of first class mail is ridiculously under priced. the three main reasons for it’s inability to make budget are: #1 – Forced policy of set aside retirement money for future employees. No other public or private companies are forced to do this. #2 Huge discount given to FedEx and others to perform rural deliveries. #3 – Policy to charge other countries (namely China) to ship to the U.S. while they charge 10 times that amount to ship to them. With just these 3 policy changes they would be operating in the black and there wouldn’t even be a need at this time to raise postal rates.
