Kent McGuire is a native of Duncan, Oklahoma, and grew up as the son of a farmer and plumber. Kent’s childhood taught him that hard work and dedication are essential for success. Linda McGuire grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. After graduating law school, Linda became a public defender in the General Appeals Division of the Appellate Public Defender’s Office and handled over 30 cases per year. She then joined the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals for the Orders Division in 1995. Three years later, she became a Staff Attorney for the Honorable Charles Johnson of the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals, where she handled countless felony cases, including death row cases.
