Effective March 1, 2008 Ownership will transfer to Roy & Jan MacDonald. Bud and Dorothy decided at age 85 that it is time to retire. Roy has retired from the Defiance Police Department and the U.S. Marine Corps so he is at the store full time now. The store has been open for several years now and Goin’ Postal has been everything that we had hoped it would be and more! How could someone NOT love what they do when numerous times a day friends come in and tell us how glad they are that we are here, how easy it is to park and walk into our store and how nice we are to them. It amazes me how many people love our store mascot “Frisco”. She was a rescue mutt from the Humane Society. She is now 13 yrs old and can’t hear as well as she once did. I have people that bring her treats, a bed and a hand crafted food and water bowl with holder. She is friends with all little people and many adults. She doesn’t even mind most of the dogs that come to visit us…more
