Built in 1860, this polished hotel is set in an elegant former sea captain’s mansion. It’s less than a mile from Chatham Lighthouse Beach, and 6 miles from Cape Cod National Golf Club.

The airy rooms and suites come with flat-screen TVs, DVD players and private bathrooms. Distinctive touches in some suites include 4-poster beds, whirlpool tubs, gas fireplaces, patios, and/or golf course views.

A resort fee covers parking, morning hot beverages, Wi-Fi, and use of the fitness room and pool. There’s a bright restaurant serving lunch and dinner, plus a seasonal outdoor heated pool and an exercise room.
