A Short History
BurgerFi arrived on the scene in February 2011, in sunny Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Florida. Six years and millions of branded- burger buns later, we’ve become the go-to burger restaurant for good times and great food, with nearly 100 locations across the U.S. and beyond. We’ve been named among the “Top 50 Movers and Shakers” by Fast Casual Magazine, “#1 Fastest Growing Company” by Techonomic, “Top Brands of 2014” by FastCasual.com, “Franchise of the Year” by QSR Magazine, and part of the 2017 “Franchise 500” by Entrepreneur. Naturally, we’ve nabbed “Best Burger” nods more times than we can count. But the one thing we always call ourselves? Really, really passionate about our food and service.
Your Favorites, Our Chef’s Touch
We really get cooking with our 100% natural angus beef, free of hormones and antibiotics and chef-driven menu items, like our famous crispy fries and double-battered onion rings — served hot and crunchy with our chef-created sauces. Other favorites include our VegeFi (our own gourmet spin on a veggie burger), Vienna hot dogs with all the fixings, frozen custard, natural sugar cane sodas, and local craft beer and wine. You’ll find the highest level of pride and attention in everything we do.
Our Beef Is Beef
We are certified “Never, Ever-3” which means we offer the top 1% of beef that has been verified as never coming from animals that were treated with antibiotics or hormones or fed any animal bi-products. We care about our beef and the cattle it comes from so we ensure they are raised humanely at the best ranches.

Guests love our eye-catching, 10-foot fans, and it’s easy to see why. Whether you’re sidled up in the restaurant or people watching on the patio, these fans provide the perfect temperature. The best part? Their environmentally conscious design means they consume 66% less energy. A smart fan that’s as eco-friendly as it is sleek? That’s pretty cool.
From Soda to Seat – Upcycling is in our DNA
Literally, if you’re sitting on one of our red chairs at any of our restaurants, that means you’re sitting on 111 upcycled Coca-Cola bottles. Now, take a look at our walls and lighting – the wood panels are made from Number 2 pine lumber, the most renewable timber source available.We also use 100% energy efficient LED lighting. These are just some of the ways that we remain eco-friendly and true to our environment.
