Wow! What a ride. Back in 1980, we started out with one small store in Austin, Texas. Today, we’re the world’s leader in natural and organic foods, with 468 stores in North America and the United Kingdom.

About the Store
Whole Foods Market, the world’s leading organic and natural foods retailer, is located at the corner of Willow and Waukegan Roads in the Willow Festival shopping center. We are excited to share our passion for natural and organic foods with our neighbors in the North Shore area!
Special features of the 60,000 square foot store include an in-store meat-smoker, a gelateria, fresh-squeezed juice, an organic salad bar, hearth fired pizza, an extensive selection of fine wine and cheese, a bountiful bulk department, the very best organic and natural groceries and produce, a fully-equipped demonstration kitchen and classroom known as our Lifestyle Center, and our very own full-service bar The Brook Bar!
We give back to our community by donating to non-profit organizations. Once per quarter we host a 5% day in which we donate 5% of our sales to a local non-profit organization! We also run a program called One Dime at a Time which provides an incentive to our customers to eliminate single-use plastic bags and develop stronger communities all at the same time. At the register, customers will have the option to receive a 10 cent per bag refund as cash back off their receipt or they can choose to donate it to that quarter’s selected charity organization.
