Wow! What a ride. Back in 1980, we started out with one small store in Austin, Texas. Today, we’re the world’s leader in natural and organic foods, with 468 stores in North America and the United Kingdom.

About the Store
Whole Foods Market was welcomed into the Memphis community October 26th, 2008. On January 14, 2014, we opened a new 42,000 square-foot store that features an organic salad bar, in-store smoked barbecue and beer venue, fresh-made gelato, a scratch bakery, natural body care and nutritional supplements, and a growler filling station with 5 beers on tap. We continue to carry a wide selection of Fair Trade coffees, environmentally-friendly body care items and cleaners, compassionately raised meats, fresh sustainable seafood, organic produce and organic dairy. We offer products from local farmers and artisans, as well as items for special diets.
Shopping with us is more than just a trip to the grocery store, it’s an experience! We pride ourselves on having helpful, knowledgeable staff and creating and educational an enjoyable atmosphere for our shoppers.
