For several years, my wife Sue and I have talked about owning our own business, but we were having a difficult time finding the one that was a good fit for us. We spent a lot of time looking through business magazines and website listings for successful franchises. We started with a list of about (20) different franchises before we narrowed it down to the “shipping,packaging & postal service” businesses. We checked out all the successful “shipping, packaging & postal service” franchises before we settled on the GOIN’ POSTAL Store franchise. We chose the GOIN’ POSTAL Store, because it will allow us to use our “customer service” and “people skills”. It other words, “we can be ourselves” and have fun working. Both of us care about people and enjoy helping others with their needs. When anyone comes into our store, we let them know that their business is appreciated, so they will return to our store, again & again & again. We want to create that small-town atmosphere where everybody knows everybody. “We are not just another retail store, We are Your Friendly Neighborhood Store”. Our goal is to be an asset to the community by meeting our customers shipping, packaging and postal needs and provide “quality” customer service” in the process. We also offer the following services: copies, prints, mail-boxes, laminating, gift & greeting cards, notary service, faxing, stamps, Postcards, FedEx & USPS shipments and office supplies. Our store is located in the Mt. Juliet Coolview Commons Shopping Center, at 14823 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, TN 37138. We are approximately “2 blocks” west of Saint Stephens Catholic Community Church and (1 mile) east of Tulip Grove Road. Just look for the “Red-White & Blue” “GOIN’ POSTAL” sign in the center of the Coolview Commons Shopping Center. Sue and I got married on August 31, 1991 and have lived in Wilson County our entire lives. I spent the first (16 years) of my life growing up on Central Pike and Sue spent most of her childhood living in Mt. Juliet. We have no children, but we enjoy teaching, coaching and spending time with the children at our church and in our community. We believe that it is important to give back to the community by getting involved with community service events, supporting the local schools and the Chamber of Commerce.
