The Ruth’s Chris Steak House legacy began when Ruth Fertel mortgaged her home for $22,000 to purchase the “Chris Steak House,” a 60-seat restaurant located in New Orleans, Louisiana. More than 40 years later, our success continues to be driven by our adherence to Ruth’s core values, which are to deliver the highest quality food, beverages and service in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Today, there are more than 150 Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses, including 20 international franchisee-owned restaurants in Mexico, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tokyo, Aruba, Canada and Dubai.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is located in the heart of downtown Columbia in the city’s financial, entertainment and historic district within the lobby of the Hilton Hotel and conveniently close to the Vista, Columbia’s most vibrant arts, dining, and entertainment districts. The restaurant boasts two private dining rooms as well as multiple meeting rooms and an expansive ballroom, a variety of event options are available for 10 to 200 guests. Whether you’re joining us for a romantic dinner, a business meeting, a private party or just a drink at the bar, our Columbia steakhouse will deliver superior service and an unforgettable dining experience.

Parking Information

We are located inside the Hilton Columbia Center Hotel which is attached to a city owned parking garage. The garage charges $2 for the first hour of parking and $1 every hour after that. You may host your guest’s parking for private events by providing vouchers which are $12 per car. There is also valet available through the Hilton Hotel or we can make arrangements to add that to your bill if you prefer to host valet parking.
