The laptop they were looking for was back on a shelf. Violent threats were made towards me as well as physical contact. I obtained 2 witnesses contact information after the event took place as well as a list of the employees that were working at the time of the incident. Time was approximately 1:09 PM Due to the employee hitting my hand after I recovered the missing laptop that was on the shelf not on my persons in any way, I could not work. The pain has reasonably increased over time as well as bruising and stiffness. It is the right wrist. I believe that the employee racially profiled me as a shop lifter. Seeing my brown skin color he immediately assumed I was a thief I believe and unjustly took action to detain my leaving the store as well as physically harmed me when I attempted to rectify the problem. Lastly I disclose this only because I feel it is my duty to report any misconduct done in the public because i know how many other people suffer from similar afflictions. I have PTSD from past violent experiences and when the mob of Best Buy Employees rushed me yelling I became so frightened I lost control of my bodily functions. If you can imagine the effects that this disgusting/demeaning experience has had on my mental state please help me bring these men to justice.
